Reiki Buddha Dharma Retreat: Cultivating the Compassionate Path of a Bodhisattva

This retreat brings together the gentle healing practice of Reiki with the profound teachings of Buddha Dharma, focusing on the compassionate path and the cultivation of Bodhichitta—an awakened heart/mind dedicated to the benefit of all beings.

Throughout this retreat, participants will engage in guided meditation, Reiki healing sessions, and discussions on the profound teachings of the Buddha. The teachings emphasise the importance of compassion, kindness, and self-awareness, illuminating how Reiki can serve as a bridge to deeper spiritual connection and mindfulness. Through Reiki healing and Buddhist wisdom, attendees will explore how to nurture Bodhichitta—the deep intention to alleviate suffering and bring peace to themselves and others.

Morning meditations set the tone for each day, helping practitioners settle into presence and an open heart/mind. Reiki sessions encourage energetic balance and renewal, supporting inner healing and fostering compassion. Discussions covered will focus on entering the Path of a Bodhisattva:

  • Overcoming bias with love and compassion
  • Generating Bodhicitta the mind of enlightenment
  • Releasing attachment through generosity
  • Shaping behaviour with ethical discipline
  • Having patience in the face of difficulties
  • Cultivating joyful effort
  • Using meditation to observe reality

This journey into Reiki and the Buddha Dharma provides a sacred space for self-discovery, inner re-engineering, and deepened understanding of the compassionate path. It aims to offer a heartfelt immersion into the wisdom of healing and enlightened actions.
