Over 20 Years of Reiki Practice

Caron’s Reiki journey began in 2005 and developed through extensive training within both Western and Japanese Reiki traditions. Over time, Reiki revealed itself not simply as a healing technique, but as a profound path of self-discovery, awareness, and awakening.

This long-term immersion cultivated a deep experiential understanding of Reiki as a living practice that transforms the practitioner from within, allowing healing, presence, and insight to arise naturally.

More Than a Decade of Buddha Dharma Training

Since 2012, Caron has undertaken extensive Buddhist study and practice under the guidance of Khentrul Rinpoche and other respected teachers within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

Her training has included retreats, empowerments, and teachings in:

The Origin of Makoto ReikiDo

In 2019, during a lucid sleep practice infused with Reiki, Caron experienced a direct encounter with what Buddhism describes as the Clear Light Mind, a luminous emptiness beyond ordinary conceptual understanding.

This experience fundamentally transformed her understanding of healing, awareness, and spiritual practice. From this point, the deeper principles of Reiki began to reveal themselves through the lens of direct experience rather than inherited theory.

Makoto ReikiDo emerged from this insight as a path rooted in sincerity, clarity, compassion, and the recognition of our innate luminous nature.

Integrating Esoteric Cosmology

A defining feature of Makoto ReikiDo is the integration of esoteric Buddhist principles, particularly those associated with Mahāvairocana and the Dharmadhātu.
