Tantric Reiki Healing

The term “tantra” literally means “thread”. Tantric practices harness a wide variety of experiences, along with mental and physical energies. Buddhist tantra is primarily found in all Tibetan lineages and also in Japanese Buddhism, especially Shingon, in which Usui was a practitioner. The following are some approaches:

  • Sound – Mantra
  • Symbols – Mandala
  • Body – Mudra
  • Subtle energy manipulation

As we advance in practice these approaches may be used for realising the ultimate nature of reality, especially when “reality” is understood in terms of the nature of mind itself.  When one knows that suffering arises from our misunderstanding of reality, we begin to see that we falsely take phenomena that are “empty” of any reality to be objectively real, separate, and unchanging.

A practitioner committed to realising the truth may through a variety of Reiki practices discover aspects of their Buddha nature or realise the ultimate ground of Dai Ko Myo.

Within the Makoto ReikiDo system, the profound practise of Tantric Reiki are observed through the following:

  4. Union of abiding with another in Reiki Practice

Healing through purification

This practice is for Intermediate/Advanced level practitioners (2nd Degree/Masters) who are committed to their practice.

The program requires an understanding of the teaching on karma, bodhicitta and emptiness. As a program there is no time limit to how long the process will go as this depends totally on each persons practice and ability to move through process.

This program works be reducing the impact of ones karma, its a little like striking a match, you may burn away the top layer but you are left with the fine residue which simply lessons the sting from the karmic potential.

The Sadhana practice supports Bodhicitta to arise as it motivates the aspiration to be of benefit for all beings.
